Crime Scene Inferencing- What happened to our classroom?









What happened to our classroom?  Can you help us out?  What do you think?  Mrs. Kasten and Mrs. Diemel were in a meeting with Mr. Sufka and Mr. Zurko and we came back to our classroom to find this!!!  Use all the clues and your inferencing reading skills to tell us your conclusion as to what happened in our room.  Leave us a comment..     I think the elf did it because he was angry because there was no nice kids on his list. The elf trashed the place to show how ANGRY he was so maybe the naughty kids MIGHT get the message to be nice otherwise, they will get trashed alot.

    I think you were visited by a very sassy elf! He probably had a lot of fun (and a lot of laughs) making a mess of your classroom. But since he probably wasn't following Santa's directions, now Santa is looking for new elves to hire.

    I think Santa and a Prancer stopped by to let the class know they were on the "almost" naughty list. He left some treat and an elf on the shelve. He also posted a notice because he was in need of an elf since he recently fired an evil one. The evil elf waited until Santa left, then wrote naughty on all the names, ate all the treats and made a huge mess.
